Cranberry Whiskey Hot Toddy
In Hamburg, Germany at the Christmas market, rum grog and sausages keep you warm, and recently we’ve even seen melted open-face raclette cheese sandwiches.
It was cold in the run-up to the Producers Portland event in early December. We brought in the raclette and adapted a toddy which people enjoyed:
Stone Barn Cranberry Toddy
· 2 oz whiskey
· 1 oz Cranberry Liqueur
· Juice from ¼ lemon
· 1-2 teaspoons honey
· A few drops old fashioned bitters to taste
Mix ingredients in a champagne glass, cocktail glass, or mug and fill with hot water. Garnish with a cinnamon stick, and if you like, a lemon wedge too.
