An Original Riff off David Mitton’s Fairytale of New York Cocktail
Just made this cocktail- started as a pear Old Fashioned, using some left over Winter Warmth Syrup (see Fairytale of New York Cocktail), but added a splash of Otto’s Athens Vermouth at the last minute. And as the name suggests- delicious.
Old Pearlicious
– 2 parts Aged Pear Brandy
– 1/2 part Winter Warmth Syrup
– Splash of sweet light-colored vermouth
– garnish with some preserved orange peal
On ice.
