Stone Barn’s rye whiskey finished in a barrel that had held a dark strong ale aged on local cherries from Hair of the Dog. (“Cherry Adam on the Wood) To quote distiller Andy Garrison, “the deep cherry and dark chocolate from Adam are a good fit with the spicy, drier character of our rye.”
