Open House and Barrel Release
Consider joining us for a barrel release and open house at the Green Warehouse. Our friend DJ Millard Woods will be taking us to Vieux Carre, and we’ll be giving free samples of our new 4.5 year-old whiskey- Barrel #30, bottled under the “Hoppin’ Eights” label. The mash bill is equal parts organic dark rye and wheat, with 7% golden German pilsner barley malt. The barrel was a toasted/charred 30 gallon barrel from A & K in Missouri. The whiskey is grain prominent, great color- our choice for a Boilermaker.
The Open house is Friday , August 17 5- 9:30 PM. Its an over 21 affair. Our neighbors at Camellia Grove will be pouring their Kombucha, Good Coffee will be providing cold brew. There will be free Sausages, watermelon, and peach shortcake while it lasts.
We will have cocktails for sale, as well as some bourbon or rye popsicles made with our friends at Stellar Pops.
